Right out of college Monica co-founded and successfully ran a small business where she manufactured and marketed t-Shirts to fashion retailers and wholesalers across India. She loved selling and decided to make it her career. Fast forward to celebrating her 27th work anniversary at American Express, spanning two continents, two business units, and eight different roles in sales and account development. From an individual contributor, to now a leader of people leaders, she has a track record of excellence, winning multiple President’s Club, Centurion Club leadership awards and the 2018 Great Place To Work Leadership Award. She is passionate about fostering an environment where her teams are motivated to excel, embrace change, and drive value to clients while supporting their career growth. Elevating and empowering colleagues is core to everything she does. Outside of work, she loves to hike and explore the beautiful paths around Northern California. Monica is also a certified Gemologist.
