Steve Closter is Vice President, Worldwide Commercialization and Interim Head U.S. Sales

at Sunovion Pharmaceuticals. He focuses on driving pre-launch planning and important lifecycle management investment decisions across late-stage pipeline assets, as well as overseeing strategies to meet and adjust to customer needs. Steve joined Sunovion in 2018, and initially served as Vice President, Marketing, leading the Psychiatry, Neurology and Respiratory therapeutic area teams. His extensive commercial experience includes over 25 years in sales and marketing, primarily at Forest Labs/Allergan, where he launched over a dozen products and gained promotional experience in a variety of selling environments while leading multiple therapeutic area teams. Steve holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing / International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University.
