Programs & Events

Our networking events and career-oriented programs and workshops feature top-notch speakers representing a variety of industries within the Sales profession. Hear from go-to experts on career development, career transition, search strategy, personal branding and self-marketing.

Our Monthly Events Include:

  • The Success Experience is the signature event of each chapter.  Held 3-4 times per year, the program format combines the chapter general membership meeting, speaker's forum/panel/symposium, and networking event into one impactful program.  It also provides an opportunity for members and guests to network with chapter corporate partners.

  • The Growth Experience helps to further the tenet of our mission of providing career development strategies for sales professionals.  Normally held on a Saturday morning, the Growth Experience provides focused and practical sales training by subject matter experts to those in attendance.  Participants can expect to leave with strategies and tactics that can be applied immediately in their respective job responsibilities, helping to make them more productive and strengthening their skill sets.

  • The Connection Experience is an informal networking event held 1-2 times per year.  Its purpose is to "connect" prospective members to the chapter in hopes that they will become active members of the organization.  The Connection Experience is also used to brand other informal chapter events such as golf outings and holiday events.

Members are welcomed to attend any NSN Success, Growth or Connection event across the nation.

State of the Organization

Learn more about National Sales Network [NSN] and its organizational mission, goals, current projects, yearly highlights and upcoming events. Annual Conference

The NSN Annual Conference and Diversity Career Fair is the premier event for African-American sales professionals and the largest of its kind. The conference features industry-led keynote presentations, workshops, panel debates and high-level networking. More than 1,000 of the nation’s top sales and sales management decision-makers gather once a year to make the most of cutting-edge and alternative Sales & Marketing innovation best-practices. Whether an attendee, exhibitor and/or sponsor, our conference is the greatest opportunity to meet and interact with this very targeted group on a one-to-one basis.

Chapter Initiatives

Each chapter has six standing committees responsible for chapter initiatives. These initiatives give the Chapter an opportunity to build on past successes and plan our future. Our committees provide new channels for career and professional development as well as the opportunity to share resources that have proven to be a positive influence for members to gain experience and knowledge in their field.

  • Membership Committee: develop and implement strategies for the recruitment and retention of members

  • Finance Committee: manage chapter finances and secure local sponsorship

  • Program Committee: plan and execute chapter programs

  • Annual Conference Committee: accountable for the local chapters’ contribution to, participation in, and attendance at the NSN annual conference

  • Marketing Committee: promote the organization to the public via press releases, event notices, and other materials and/or methods used to publicize the organization

  • Mentoring Committee: develop and implement NSN efforts to cultivate relationships internally (members) and externally (community outreach)

Scholarship Program

The NSN Scholarship Program awards scholarships annually to Seniors pursing a degree at one of the nation’s Historically Black Colleges or Universities. Business majors are preferred; however, all majors are considered. Presentations of scholarships are made during the NSN National Conference. To apply or get details, click here.

Start a Chapter

Our chapters are geographically based. National Sales Network has enjoyed tremendous growth over the last several years, and it is mostly because of the strength and dedication of our volunteer chapter leaders. Starting a new chapter is an exciting and rewarding experience. Being a Founding Member of a NSN chapter, while requiring a significant amount of dedication and time, also affords you the opportunity to increase your professional development and management skills.
