and Welcome to the Oakland/Bay Area Chapter website of National Sales
Network (NSN).
Members of the NSN Oakland/Bay Area
Chapter share opportunities for networking, professional development,
learning events, communication and promotional channels.
They
also have access to resources for news and events throughout the San
Francisco Bay Area. NSN connects its members virtually and in addition
hosts a number of networking activities, events, and conferences
throughout the year in order to support membership needs.
You will not want to miss the

About NSN:
National Sales
Network is a 501-C-3 not-for-profit membership organization whose mission
is to meet the professional and developmental needs of African-American
sales and sales management professionals. Annual membership fees are
only $75.
National Sales Network was
founded by a group of African-American sales and sales management
professionals in Newark, New Jersey, June 1992. The original purpose of
the organization was and still is to enhance the skill development of
sales and sales management professionals while providing a forum for
networking within the profession. Several well-established Black
professional organizations served as examples of how instrumental an
organization of this magnitude could be in providing networking
opportunities for sales professionals.
Since then, the organization
has grown to twelve chapters nationwide. These chapters conduct seminars
on subjects such as:

Selling skills

Negotiating skills

Job search
-
Time management
-
Organization skills
-
Career management.
NSN is not an organization
based on socializing (although we have our share of fun!) --
our objective is to provide useful skills and experiences to help
African-Americans become better Professional Salespeople!

Statement
Our mission is to meet
the professional and developmental needs of the African – American
Sales and Sales Management professional by:

organization of choice for the African – American Sales
professional.

skill development programs for sales professionals.

through which sales professionals can network within their
profession

NSN is composed of sales
professionals and entrepreneurs from all industries. Sales management
professionals are well represented within the group with titles from
District Manager to Vice President of Sales. The organization also
conducts an annual National Conference in September of every year. NSN
currently has chapters in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Los
Angeles, Memphis, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Washington DC/Baltimore.
We have hit the ground running and the excitement is building.
