Welcome to National Sales Network (NSN)
NSN
Continues to Thrive In Bad Economy:
National Sales Network (NSN) has continued to grow in the face of
the worst economic climate in recent years. The cornerstone of our
success rest on the fact that we have followed a strict business
model with respect to what we offer as a “professional
organization”. We have focused on enhancing skill development for
sales and sales management professionals at all levels. We connect
you with a network of professionals who can give you access to
critical information and resources. And, we provide access to some
of the most competitive sales and sales management career
opportunities in the country.
NSN 2009 Conference Sets Historical
Record / 2010 Conference Expected To Continue Trend:
For the first
time ever, the 2009 NSN annual conference and career fair attendance
exceeded 1000 people (27% increase vs. 2008). In a year when companies and
individuals placed a moratorium on all travel expense, the strong NSN
conference “value proposition” played a significant role in delivering a
double digit increase in 2009. Both our attendees and sponsors can
substantiate the fact that the NSN conference delivers a “highly
concentrated return on their investment”. We are expecting between 1100 –
1200 people from all U.S major metro areas to attend our 2010 conference &
career fair at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida
August 4-7, 2010. Special arrangements have been made to extend the NSN
room rate of $119 three days before and/or three days after the NSN
conference dates so that our members can spend vacation time before/after
our 2010 conference.
New Chapters 2009 / 2010:
In 2009 NSN
started 2 new chapters - Orlando and Nashville. These two new chapters
bring NSN to a total of 16 operating chapters. This is double the number
of chapters we had 3 years ago. We expect to continue this growth trend in
2010 and 2011. Our long term strategic plan calls for NSN to start 2-3 new
chapters per year for the next 3-5 years. In 2010 we will target Miami,
Tampa and Jacksonville in an effort to expand new chapter development
while at the same time increasing conference attendance from sales
professionals that live in the state of Florida. This is not to stay that
we will not entertain new chapter start ups in other parts of the country.
We are focused on starting new chapters in locations that we can find a
“committed” group of people to lead the new chapter start up process.
“Tomorrow’s Sales Executives Today”
Initiative:
I’m excited
to announce that Atlanta Chapter President Mecca Moore will lead the NSN
“Tomorrow’s Sales Executives Today” initiative. Mecca will be working with
a team of NSN officers/members in an effort to bring all that NSN offers
to Juniors/Seniors on select HBCU campuses and to ALL recent (1-5 yrs)
college graduates. The ultimate goal will be to grow our membership and
conference attendance with this select demographic. Mecca will be
developing an on campus program that will focus on educating young leaders
about sales career opportunities, presenting our scholarship & mentoring
program to students and positioning the benefits of attending the NSN
conference and career fair to this important demographic.
