Welcome to National Sales Network (NSN)
Why Choose NSN as Your “Professional Association?” Let Me Give You 3 Good Reasons:
1) National Sales Network Thrives In Down Economy
Both the NSN 2009 and 2010 annual conferences defied “economic logic”. Conference registrations (1039 attendees) were up 28% in 2009 and just about even in 2010. The 2010 conference career fair was attended by 42 companies from different industries representing an increase of 13 more companies over 2009.
Of the 42 companies, 16 of these were new companies participating in the career fair for the first time. Surprising as it may sound, NSN had to turn away 8 companies based on our business model which calls for a strict adherence to a balanced ratio of career fair sponsors to attendees thus ensuring a ROI for sponsors that participate. The 2010 career fair industry diversification was at an all time BEST as no one industry dominated the career fair.
2) Re-Invent Yourself Here
Never before has the ability to re-invent yourself taken on such importance. To remain relevant and competitive everyone must continuously conduct self evaluations and determine if a new course needs to be charted. The current evidence clearly supports that an unprecedented number of people are determining that they have “transferable skills” and are researching the growth industries and making the “leap”. NSN chapter events are playing a critical role in facilitating the process by providing a forum that brings people and companies together so the “opportunities” can be explored.
Imagine having the ability to talk to successful sales professionals from an industry you are pursuing BEFORE you take the leap. Then imagine having the ability to then approach the companies in the specific industry you are seeking to build your new career path. Absolutely Priceless.
3) Strong NETWORK
The NSN annual conference is on record as having the highest concentration of African-American sales executives in one place at any time during any given year. If you are seeking an external mentor you can find him/her at our conference. If you are seeking additional knowledge from sales executives in your industry you can participate in the many conference workshops or take some of the pearls of wisdom from the many conference speakers.
If you are seeking to network with peers from your industry you will find them at the NSN conference in abundance. No matter how sophisticated technology becomes it will NEVER replace good old-fashioned personal networking. Join us at our next conference in Houston August 10- 13, 2011 so you can “Get Connected to the Network.”
